We needed to drop off our car 2 1/2 hours later than originally booked (2:30pm instead of noon). We called ahead for the okay, and were still charged $138 more. $138 for less than 3 hours????? I am a fast break member and have been ignored in the fast break line the last 2 times I have been in line waiting to get a car. Goodbye Budget, your once loyal customer who recommended you to others is moving on and will tell everyone else not to use budget.Reviewed 2023 Aug 27

Van was not ready when promised; we had to wait. Also they charged me for fuel even though I returned it full. However, after filling out a survey with Budget, they reached out to credit back the fuel surcharge which was very nice.Reviewed 2023 Jun 18

Pickup in Seattle was very very slow which could have been improved if more than one individual was serving customers. My initial car rental offered smelled like marijuana and it took an additional 25 minutes to get a replacement vehicle which ended up being a mid-sized Nissan Sentra and not the full size as I had rented. Also, there was no offer of refund for the difference in class. It took about 50 min start to finish from walking through the door to leaving with my rental which is way too long in my opinion having been a consultant for ~4 years and rented cars about 40 of every 52 week calendar year.Reviewed 2023 Jun 12

They did not have the class we picked and since it was a one way they were only able to substitute a 12 passenger van for the SUV we were planning on. Made parking in the city a challenge.Reviewed 2023 May 05

I was told my vehicle was a 12 passenger van, even though I was by myself. I said I did not not want a van and they said this was the "surprise vehicle". I had to pay extra to downsize to a smaller vehicle. Not right.Reviewed 2023 Apr 29
