I rented with the understanding that I could pickup the car at the San Diego airport. It turned out the location to pick up the car was 22 miles away and a half hour drive. And there is no free transportation available. It’s on your dime to get there. This is insanity. You need to make it very clear that the location is 22 miles away from the airport. Entry agent was agreeable but not overly friendly. We received a different vehicle than I thought we were getting. I had reserved a Ford Econostar 12 person van but ended up with a Kia van with a third row. It did meet our needs and was a very nice car, but you had to climb in through the hatch to get to the third row. The shuttle drviver was shopping on his phone the entire time and it was hard to even get his attention to help me. The guys at the checkin counter were just as bad. There were 6 of them and two customers and it took them forever to help me and when they did they were rude and rushed since they were closing soon taking about their social plans other than helping usReviewed 2026 Mar 09
