Cons: Line to pickup was over 45 minutes. Needs to be faster
Pros: The gentlemen at the gate leaving the rental parking lot was friendly and welcoming.
Cons: There was a long line to pick up outside, we had a reservation for a specific time. Also, when I book there was the option for economy, compact and “staff choice” for the same price, choose staff choice and got the smallest car available (economy), I would have picked compact if I knew. The wait at the airport was the worse for sure, it was windy and cold. We found out later they had a counter indoors but there was no signage guiding us.
Pros: The car that we eventually received was very nice - clean and comfortable. The drop-off experience was also uneventful.
Cons: After arriving at BNA at ~4:00 P.M., we didn't actually leave the airport until 5:25 P.M. due to three problems with our rental: (1) my car rental "jacket" directed me to an empty space on the lot, (2) when I returned to the garage-based counter, I noticed that the rental agreement was for SOMEONE ELSE (same first name as mine, but different last name), (3) when this was finally sorted out, my "new" car was a 2019 Toyota Corolla with a defective backseat lap seat belt ... and there was someone else in the driver's seat initially as he thought he was in HIS car due to a mistake on HIS rental agreement "jacket," (4) we still had to wait another 20 minutes for a car to either/both arrive and/or be washed/cleaned, etc., until (5) we ultimately got a very nice car - not an upgrade, just a newer, cleaner Nissan - which we were able to enjoy for the remainder of our visit in Nashville, TN!
Cons: I had the dealers choice option. But they were short cars, so then to pay $60 more dollars to get a Jeep Wrangler, but that was the smallest one they had , and it was just the 2 of us. We didn’t need a large suv like suburban or a van.
Cons: The car had mechanical problems and Dollar offered no help or reimbursement
Pros: It was an easy check-in/check-out experience. The car was nice.
Cons: We paid for and ordered a Range Rover Discovery (7-seater), but were given the Evoque (5-seater). The car had much less room than we ordered and paid for. We also had to buy and add coolant as it was VERY low and the light came on. The light also came on for low tire pressure so we had to take care of that as well. Then, on the way home the "Service Now" light came on, so it makes me wonder when they checked out the fluid levels, etc. last.
Pros: Pickup staff very helpful
Cons: The Nissans lock down themselves with keys in the ignition. There is no note about this in the car. We were locked out fir 1.5 hours and missed our tour. The safety of this is unacceptable if we had a child or pet locked in the car with it running we would have had to break the window. Could be a very dangerous situation in the heat.
Pros: The car was very clean, drop off very smooth and the person working was friendly.
Cons: Very long wait to get the car, an hour and a half from landing to driving off airport property. The checkout lady was friendly, but failed to mention extra charges until everything was printed up for me to sign and I’m like what is this extra $60?
Pros: Staff was amazing! Very helpful and kind. Easy pick up and drop off.
Pros: Check in CSR was friendly
Cons: Car REKED of cigarette smoke. High-beams did not work well at all. GMC Terrain was so under-powered that accelerating onto highways was an uncomfortable proposition.
Cons: The key fob battery died..no way to drive car, in the middle of remote area.
Pros: the car was easy to pick up. it was confusing that a Hertz agent helped me with my Dollar car rental.
Cons: Both front tires were worn and should be replaced. the right front tire had parts of the tread missing where I can see the steel belt underneath. Unfortunately I did not see this until after I had driven the vehicle off the premises. When I returned the vehicle I waited to speak to the attendant about this. I told him the tires were unsafe and should be replaced. I was not looking for a refund or credit, I was concerned about a blowout happing to the next driver.
