Hertz is good but not awesome. I don’t care for how they reel you in at one price thinking that’s what your going to pay and then when you get there your actually paying $100 more. That’s a false advertisement. If I’m paying $265 for my car, you should be telling me that up front, not after I get to the airport and pick my car out.Reviewed 2024 Aug 07

Toyota 4 Runners have got to be the most uncomfortable vehicles I have ever driven. This car was in dire need of a tire balance and rotation. You had to fight it to stay stable in your lane when driving. It also kept having warnings come up that it needed an oil change right after we picked it up. Pick up at Nashville was fine but drop off could have been better with airport signage not being super clear on where to go and no one there to direct where exactly they wanted me to pull in. When someone finally did come, he was hateful because he didn’t like where I pulled into.Reviewed 2024 Jun 12

I had a terrible experience. At first, my rental car was not available. Then they tried to charge me almost triple what the initial cost was. Through KAYAK, it was supposed to be $81. They charged me 180 at the counter. Then they tried to give me a Tesla for a 900 mile one-way trip that I was supposed to complete in 24 hours They ended up charging me an extra $40 to upgrade and get a normal car. Ie. non electric. Reserve a car 10 min before to pick up we was there they said they have no vehicle for us so we go to enterprise to rent one at the last minute but coast more money we have no choice plus pay another cab to go somewhere else We pay 2 cab and double money for a car am in the home over $500 I will very appreciate if hertz could cover my over expenses I got the invoice of enterprise if you need it Thank you to ask about my experienceReviewed 2023 Oct 17

There were no cars available when I arrived to hertz even though I had a confirmed reservation. Also, the kayak website led me to believe the car was reserved at the airport when the car was actually reserved at a site off airport that required I get a taxi to get the car.
