Cons: Front desk could have been more accommodating. Fortunately I was able to call phone support to get the assistance I needed The car needed a better cleaning in regards to the odor. Strong weed smell

Cons: When I got there to Pick up the car the counter was closed and nobody or not even a sign put out for what to do and where to go. It was my first time getting the rental car without my husband and got lost for a bit. My husband was calling for me to your customer service while I was waiting there and I ended going to Hertz counter and asked about anyone working at Dollar. He said I will help you after I’m done with my customer and it was very confusing to me. My only advice to you is put the information about going to Hertz counter if dollar rental counter is closed and also put the sign at drop off area as well.
Pros: I had to wait for the car for about 30 minutes once all paper work had been signed. Drop off was 100% better.

Cons: I had to cancel my trip due to COVID and I could not get my money back. I was charged for the week even though I could not travel and never got the car.
Pros: The impala was a nice car.
Cons: Car was not clean prior to pickup. Dirty covid masks inside. The window has been smashed in and replaced prior to pickup, but the broken glass was not fully removed, leading to cuts on hands and feet. Overall, very dissatisfied, from both the dirty masks and the glass!!!

Cons: Check out was easy and straightforward. Wait time was not unreasonable and counter agent was knowledgeable. Returning the car was even easier!
Cons: I guess dollar thrifty and hertz are one company now. Staff was friendly but car was not ready. We finally got one loaded up and headed out. About half way to our destination we turned on the ac/heater. It only worked on high and then we got blown away. Also the stale odor of cigarettes started to permeate the car.
The next day I took the car to another dollar location and exchanged it. The line was long and there were two people working. (Customers from other agencies were in and out and we barely moved.) A third person finally came out but one of the two left so still at two. When I got to the counter the gentleman was great. He could not apologize enough. . I could tell he was shocked about the smoke smell) The lady who was checking returned cars also was very nice and apologized also. It took too much time. It would have been nice for a reduction of the rate. The second car was much nicer so it might have been an upgrade
Cons: I had to change plans based on possible COVID exposure (which could have been supported by a doctor statement) and was given no option to reschedule. The fact that I had a non-refundable reservation was not obvious to me initially, nor was any effort made to try to work something out... the attitude was, well you should have known. In this time of global pandemic we all have to do our part to mitigate spread, and my feeling was that Dollar made no effort at all... even to recognize the problem. I didn't get so much as an apology.
