Cost was supposed to be $224.97 for a week, plus I paid about $88 for Allianz insurance when I booked stateside. On arrival at the rental place in Costa Rica I was told the Allianz insurance only covers collision, and I also need liability insurance. Not sure if this is true or a scam, but ended up paying $495 for the week (rental plus cheapest liability insurance option). The car had 74,000 miles. Low pressure light came on on the last day, so i had to have the gas station pump up the tires, though fortunately did not go flat.Reviewed 2024 Mar 21

Pros:Staff was friendlyCons:Price is incredibly misleading. What I reserved was a week long rental for a SUV. When we finally got to the rental counter, they surprised us with government mandated insurance, which caused the price to skyrocket. By the end of it, the cheapest option we had, which was “insurance” that still has us liable for all damages and expenses to the sum of $500+ for a week. Had I known the total price before booking, I wouldn’t have even bothered. Look elsewhere for a car rental.Reviewed 2019 Oct 19

Pros:The office looks beautiful, it doesn’t reflect the actual service. Try to avoid as much as possible.Cons:They’re masters in fooling and making dirty money. They never explained everything, yet they “stole” items from the car and charged me for that! NEVER AGAIN.Reviewed 2019 May 03
