Price was reasonable, they didn’t have the car size we requested, upgraded to a much larger vehicle which is not a great deal on an island with very narrow streets hard to find parking and expensive gas. The vehicle was an older model which was well cleaned but did have several exterior bruises which were accounted for, no problem there. The location when returning the car was a bit tricky to find. The check in process was a bit long but the return was quick.Reviewed 2023 Feb 15

The car we rented was in poor shape..broken mirrors, loose floor mats, dents and scratches galore. Ants in the back seat. But easy pickup up and drop off and convenient airport shuttle.Reviewed 2023 Jan 22

Was given an old car with multiple dents/scratchers and poorly performed body work. Had to come back 5 min later because rear tire was half way flat, which they inflated and it was ok. On day 3 out of 4 day rental during the trip to Walgreens the battery died. When I called for help at the provided number and gave my location I was told the help is coming in 30 min. When nobody showed up in 30 min and I called the same number I was given ridiculous excuses that they could not reach me since they didn't have my number. At this point its late at night, we left the cars with the keys in the parking lot and took taxi home. The next day when I called they said they got the car but so far refused to compensate me for one day missed rental. It will likely escalate to a credit card dispute. Landed in St Thomas and after waiting in line for Covid and getting luggage called Economy to learn that they had given away my car because I was past 60 minute reservation time. Poor experience.Reviewed 2022 Jan 01

We were surprised to see what they are renting out to people. There were scratches dents and scapes peeling paint and the rear view mirror fell off. When the rental agent handed us the keys she said be gentle with your opinion of our rentals. Was embarrassed to drive it - but later we saw many like cars on the island. We asked about an upgrade- one wiithout all the dents and scratches was $500 a day. The one we rented was $120 a day. Did anyone else have similar experience?Reviewed 2021 Dec 28

Bad experience. Ended up without a car for the week since insurance. Was not provided as it indicated in the ad and economy nor kayak did not sell insurance. I was told to go buy my own insurance. WTFReviewed 2021 Dec 18

Cons:, car not clean was charged $24 as a pickup and drop-off service to the airport the car was in poor condition lots of scratches in chips and cracks in the body work charge the $200 deposit fee up front it was not located at the airport and get I was charged to be picked up and to be taken back to the airportReviewed 2017 May 07

Horrible ExperiencePros:Absolutely nothing.Cons:Car was in poor condition. They accused us of losing a hubcap and are tying to charge us for it. Gave us the car with only three quarters full of gas but made us return it filled. Check engine light was on. Tires were completely bald. Hubcap and gas cap door were missing. Car felt unsafe to drive so I returned it early and am asking for a complete refund. Customer service was unfriendly and unhelpful. Also the location was so hard to find and there was no number to call to get the shuttle to pick me up at the airport, had to take a cab. Then they tried to charge more because I didn't "come from the airport". NEVER use this company. I rent cars all the time and I have never experienced something like this.Reviewed 2017 Jan 16
