Had to wait in line for two hours to get the car due to Hertz management and operational failures. Cars were not cleaned as they were delivered to the location by Hertz late (typically Hertz drops off the night before, but in this case they were dropped off the same morning). Further, only two employees were working when typical staff is 3-4 people (the manager stated that they knew they had over 40 reservations to fill that morning). Apparently Hertz management fired two people at the location earlier in the week without having substitute staff ready. Despite having booked two weeks in advance (and having pre-paid) my ordered car type was not available. The manager at the location refused any sort of compensation for Hertz's multiple failures on management and operational levels. Syrupy sweet words do not cover mismanagement and the cost in time that I incurred. Enterprise has been a better outfit on every occasion. It is no accident that the stock is near all-time lows, they have serious problems at Hertz.Reviewed 2022 Oct 31

They did not have a car! They were out of cars! And then hertz said I had to contact kayak to get a refund because you idiots made me pay ahead and your dumb company has no way to get a hold of someone! I am done with kayak and with hertz you both are criminals!Reviewed 2022 Oct 31

The reservations was made for noon and the location closed at noon so we were stranded without a car. The system should not have allowed the reservation.Reviewed 2022 Jun 08

Easy, fast, no hassle. I’ve used other vendors like Dollar rental and Avis and both times it was a nightmare. I plan on using Hertz until they give me a reason not to.Reviewed 2021 Dec 16

Pros:The size of the car was exactly what I needed and it was a newer car.Cons:There were red stains in the back seat.. not sure what it was. The entire car smelled like cigarettes (I don’t smoke). And the windshield wipers were so awful, we couldn’t drive in the rain other wise we would have crashed.Reviewed 2021 May 18
