Cons: No car was available. I paid for a taxi to and from and had no car. Very disappointing experience. Will not use Kayak next time.
Cons: I had to wait 2 hours for my car when I arrived. And when I dropped off there was no one there to take the car and I had to wait there as well. Just not helpful at all. Honestly all the other car agencies I’ve used on the island are fantastic. Use thrifty or even hertz. I’ll never use Avis again. Just because it’s a well known name does not make it the better rental place. The staff was unpleasant and nasty, which is unheard of in Aruba in general. I’ll never rent from them again.
Pros: Ease of pickup and drop-off. Staff was friendly. Car condition was OK, clean but banged up on the outside. Great gas mileage

Cons: They didn’t have the 12 passenger car we booked, rather 9 passenger to remove a row for luggage. However, that actually worked out perfect for us.

Cons: The customer service with drop-off was absolutely atrocious. Never have I been spoken to in such a rude, condescending manner. AVIS charged me for an additional day and refused to rectify the mistake. I will not be renting from AVIS ever again.
Cons: No shuttle service from the airport, told us to go to Costs Linda resort to pick up van but the agency wasn’t there so had to take another cab to LaCabana. Agency at LaCabana had to find us a van as they didn’t have the reservation. Not happy with this rental
Pros: My flight arrived late and my car was given away. I was told that was the policy. The agent didn’t try to help . My family of 5 and I was stuck, scared and very disappointed.
Car not available despite booking months in advance and following up
Cons: Car we requested (to accommodate 5 people) was not available despite us calling 2days before arrival to ensure availability. Very poor customer service. Heard this happens a lot as people who didn't book show up and offer extra $ for the already reserved car (car goes to a higher bidder). Very disappointing.
Pros: Ultimately would up with a good car.
Cons: Had to return to the rental agency and switch cars to receive the car promised. Received car with 7/8 of a tank of fuel. Supposed to return with same amount? I filled it to full. Felt like it was assumed I would abuse the car based on the way the customer care group interacted with me. No special consideration offered to me for inconvenience the rental process created for me.

Cons: My questions were answered in a very curt and dismissive tone. When I declined to take out additional insurance on my vehicle the customer service agent asked me (loudly) " Are you SURE you know what you're doing? There's a lot of crime here lately, and if anything happens to this vehicle you will have to pay us IMMEDIATELY!" I informed her that I was covered through my credit card and my primary insurance ( verified) and her reply was "No, you're not! We will be placing a $1000 hold on your credit card!" This practice is erroneous and her delivery was extremely unprofessional.
