I might have misunderstood the kayak website but when I choose “offsite airport” I thought it was a situation where the rental lot was away from the airport and there would be a shuttle. When I checked in at the Budget counter they said my reservation was at a completely different location and there was no shuttle. My rate went up around $70. My mom is in a wheelchair so I had to get the car at the airport. It was frustrating but I’ll know in the future. ThanksReviewed 2024 Aug 29

Beware. About a week after our return we received a letter igniting we would be charged $450 because the exterior of the car was too dirty. $450 to wash a car???? We were caught in rain and drove on a dusty gravel road. The Jeep was a 4x4. The interior of the car was returned in spotless condition. There was no damage to the exterior, etc. It was dirty. Pros:Pickup at COS was easy for FastBreak members. Bypassed the line, picked up the keys in 30 seconds. The Mazda CX-9 was larger than what we had reserved, which came in very handy. The car was clean and in very good condition. Drop off at COS was super easy--a courteous attendant took the info and within a couple minutes we were inside the terminal.Cons:The car was a bit pricey ($80/day) and LDW coverage (had I gotten it) would have been another $35/day.Reviewed 2021 May 28

Cons:The agent asked me if I wanted an SUV instead of the sedan I’d originally rented because I had my family with me. He said absolutely nothing about an upcharge, upgrade, or any additional cost. As rental car companies often upgrade for free, I took that to be the situation here. But when we received the bill they’d charged us significantly more for the SUV. We were also three hours late returning the car but they charged us an entire day extra. Never using Budget again.Reviewed 2021 May 03

Cons:I reserved a full size car at the airport. My flight was delayed and by time I got to the rental counter no one was around even though they were still supposed to be open. I ended up having to uber from the airport and back in the morning, costing about 2 days worth of the rental car. I finally get the car the next day and it's a Kia Optima, nice car but mid-sized not full size. Then when I return the car at the end of the week, I topped off with gas before returning, I'm charged a $10 fuel surcharge because they say they gave me the car with 18.5 gals of gas and I returned it with 17.6 gals. $10 for 1 gal of gas that I was supposedly less from when I started, when there is no digital gauge in the car to tell me exactly how many gals I have in it when I started. And guess what. The Kia Optima only has a 18.5 gal fuel tank. So it is impossible to return with 18.5 gals because there is no fuel station in the parking lot.Reviewed 2021 Apr 26

Pros:Pick up staff was rude and difficult- will not be back because of manager and older gal we had to deal withShe lied to us drop off member was super nice and helpfulCons:STAFF that u get what u reserved or at least comparable Vehicles are not chosen for just seating also baggae especially when what u requested are in lot. I will never use COS AIRPORT for rentals again The customer service was horrendous and we are local to COS- hope our visitors are not treated this way.Reviewed 2021 Mar 28
