We waited well over an hour in the line to get our vehicle. Then when we get up there the person working was very rude be told us to be grateful it wasn’t four hours and we had vehicle because some people wait all day for a vehicle. I said that’s why I reserved a vehicle so it would be ready. Then she charged us extra because my name was on the credit card but my husband was going to be the driver. We had never had this happen any other time we rented a vehicle, just as long as I also had my drivers license with me. Then the car they gave us was blocked by another car. I felt like I was in an episode of Seinfeld. At the end they charged us $250 more than what was in the agreement. I still have to call and dispute it, but we only just got back from our travels a few hours ago. I will not use that service again.Reviewed 2023 Nov 13

I rented a car for one day ($53). When I returned the car as scheduled before 9PM there were no employees anywhere in the rental car building at Sanford Airport so I left the car in the Budget space by the door and dropped the keys in the return box. I was charged $135 for returning the car late. I called and talked to different representatives for half an hour and they agreed to refund the money, but only ended up refunding $53 so I still got charged $81.Reviewed 2023 Nov 09

On our way to pickup the car a budget representative called us and told us that our car was not available due to a broken windshield. They had no other cars the same size and did not help us find other cars in other locations. We spent hours trying to locate a car last minute and we’re unable to. We had to purchase one way plane tickets to go back home and we’re not able to bring things we needed with us.Reviewed 2023 Oct 03

There was a roach infestation in the band that we rented and we had to throw out luggage is buy laundry soap wash all our clothes at the Airbnb we say that and also had to buy roach spray it was ridiculous and we spent tons of hours going through our luggage is trying to get rid of the roaches we had a 15 passenger van so there was tons of luggage is that we had to go through we spent hours outside of the budget location in the parking lot have fun literally going through each P article of clothing and transfer It’s into garbage bagsReviewed 2022 May 09

Pros:Literally nothing. As soon as I landed (at midnight) I had a message from Budget saying that they didn’t have a car for me and there was nothing they could do. I had to sleep in the airport because it was too late and too expensive to try and get another car. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a car rental, and I’ve had some pretty bad ones.Cons:Everything, literally anything and everything would’ve been better. I’m never using your service again, and will strongly discourage anyone I ever meet from using your service either because of this.Reviewed 2021 May 16

Cons:The worst rental experience ever. No vehicle at location available despite reservation. No attempt at assistance with alternative other than walk down the counter and ask other vendor which were Asking$ 1000 a day.
