Had to cancel due to personal reasons. They make it impossible to deal with in regards to cancellation. They say to cancel with booking agency and the booking agency says to cancel with Hertz. Totally confusing.

I left a jacket behind at the Hertz office but was told by them when I returned that the Lost & Found guy was not there & I would need to file a claim online. Cant they just always just have an employee for their Lost & Found on site

I checked out online with my DEBIT card and at no point at all did it state a Credit card was required. They withdrew the money from my bank account and approved the reservation. We show up to get it and he said they cant give it to us because I dont have a credit card THEN WHY ACCEPT THE RESERVATION WITHOUT A CREDIT CARD? WHY WITHDRAW MONEY FROM MY DEBIT CARD?? Now I have to wait over a week for my money back

My reservation was moved and was not convenient. Was notified the evening before I was supposed to pick up at 9 AM the next day. No cars were not available. Ruined my trip.

First the good news...the staff was friendly, the interior of the car was clean. The bad news...it took 1-1/2 hours to pick up the car. I was told to vacuum the car before returning it. That's something I never heard before! The exterior of the car was not clean. Bugs all over the front . And the car had some damage to the front bumper and radar sensor. I didn't notice this damage when I picked up the car. When I returned it, they were very good to take my word for it that the damage was there when I picked it up. Despite the staff being friendly, this is not an efficiently run location. I would not recommend, especially if you are in a hurry!

There was no indication when I booked that I could not leave my car at the rental place so I had to spend significant time finding a place to park my car including having someone come and pick me up so they could take me back to the car rental pick up. When I tried to cancel my reservation so I could just drive my own car — this was for business, both Priceline who I booked the car through and hertz refused to refund me. The “maintenance required, return car to dealership light” came on after 20 minutes in the first car they gave me, requiring me to turn around and drive back to the rental place for another car. They told me not to worry about it and I had to insist on taking a different car, because had something gone wrong I would have been responsible. Two cars later, I was finally on the road in a vehicle that smelled like smoke and only had half a tank of gas. I was at the Hertz rental place for three hours before I got out of town. I will NEVER use Priceline or Hertz again. 0 stars | 5 👎🏼

Picking up at Tulsa Airport was long. There was only one person working for Hertz, Dollar, and Thrifty so we were all funneled through one window. It appears to be a slow transaction to begin with so him being on his own with a line of 10 customers in the 95 degree temperatures was frustrating. Drop off was super simple and I got a receipt 20 min later in my email.

I had to drop off my car on Sunday but they told me they were closed and I would have to pay for Monday.

I still have not received my receipt via email. Also it was not clear what the drop off hours were in Elmhurst location which caused a hiccup in the drop off.
