No need for a $#&* transponder

Pros: The car was clean and drove well, had lots of bells and whistles. The drop-off was quick and easy once we found the right parking lot (not very well signed).

Cons: Only one waiting at the counter for two rental agencies, long check-in wait. The kind of car I had reserved was not available. I like to drive a small economic vehicle, and all they had were SUVs. The woman at the counter tried to rent me a transponder, told me the toll booths didn't accept currency (wrong!). She also charged me 50 bucks more than I had reserved. Reason: prepay for a full tank of gas. No, no, no! Didn't prepay, of course, If you don't bring back a fuil tank, they charge over nine bucks per gallon for the refill.

Pros: Car was in good condition & roomy

Cons: They didn’t have the size car we’d booked and the representative seemed annoyed with us that we asked about our options and whether we’d get a discounted rate if we took a smaller vehicle. We ended up choosing a larger car than we wanted at our same rate so it was fine. Just a bit frustrating when they didn’t have what we reserved & the customer service was a bit lacking.

Good value for the price

Pros: You could not go wrong with the price. Front desk staff was polite and professional.

Cons: The car had some minor dings, which I always take time to document before leaving the lot, but this is to be expected.
