Getting my receipt after dropping of the car took days and multiple calls when they told me it would happen within 24 hours. I still don't see the final charges on my credit card.

Cons:

The car could've been cleaner. The inside had sand on the seats and floor. The cars rims were covered in mud and sand.. overall the car served it's purpose but it could've been cleaner.

Absolutely nothing.

Cons:

The staff were the RUDEST people I’ve ever met and there was a 2 hour long line to get your RESERVED car.

The local staff was very accommodating and apologetic.

Cons:

There was a long line to pick up. Everyone got their car an hour late. The location I was dropping off at changed their hours so they were closed when I needed to swap cars. Your telephone customer service had no idea how to handle this.

The pickup staff was okay to interact with.

Cons:

The inside of the car was dirty when I received it, very sad in any situation but in a pandemic it could be deadly. I felt so inclined that I needed to pull over, purchase my own disinfectant, and clean the inside of the car. The drop off was also remote, I wasn’t aware of that, and I still haven’t been notified of the total cost of the car.

Friendly staff, but that’s it.

Cons:

Car died in the middle of the street in Midtown. Had to wait three hours for a tow truck that was promised in 90 minutes, in the freezing rain.

Budget is not honoring the rate. I booked the reservation and picked up the car, and after the fact found out that they charged me $70 per day over what was quoted

Car was freshly cleaned

Cons:

Waited in line for 90 minutes to pick up the vehicle. Then was further delayed an additional 30 minutes when the staff locked the keys in the vehicle and had to jimmy the door open with a sim jim.

Pros:

Not an enjoyable experience at all

Cons:

Pickup — staff was both rude and incompetent. When picking up, I asked to change my dropoff date. After huffing about it, the staff person told me the new price... but conveniently forgot to update the reservation because I was later charged an early return fee. So then I obviously had to call to get it reversed — which no one likes wasting their time doing. Why couldn’t this have been simple and seamless, as usual? Only one reason - the staff. Dropoff — again, the staff person was exceptionally rude. She asked me to get in line when I was only literally mentioning that I was dropping off. Not EVERYONE is trying to cut in line all the time! Sometimes we just don’t want to wait for 6 other people to get helped for a 1 second FYI!

Nothing - I would not rent from Dollar again.

Cons:

Overall a huge waste of time. Very inefficient business. Long wait. Unfriendly, unhelpful staff (Evelyn @ 22nd Street). Car was not ready - they quickly cleaned it when we arrived. Rear left blinker was not working. Attitude when we asked to change cars given it was raining and would soon be dark out. Customer service was not helpful when we called.

The car was dirty when I picked it up. I found a kitchen knife between the console and passengers seat. Very disappointed

Car was a mess. Dog hair everywhere. Soda on ceiling and side of car. No windshield fluid and windows were filthy. Hard to see out of while driving

Pros:

I got a Hyundai Veloster which was pretty cool, I didn't expect that in the economy range.

Cons:

A lot of nickel and dimeing going on when picking up the car. I already bought insurance online, but they tried to sell me another insurance? Over $20 to use the E-ZPass? $10/gal for gas seems absurd, I refuelled myself.

I just checked my bank account and I got charged $658.56 for my car rental. It should've been $408.56. Please correct this amount ASAP otherwise I will dispute the charge with Chase.
