It was impossible for me to get a rental because i didn't had a physical credit card. We live in an era where everything is digital yet i was required to have a physical credit card and a physical license. I had everything to get the rental but just because it's all digital it was impossible for me to get a car. I understand that you need to have guarantees but it's ridiculous. I had an emergency and just because your technology is out of date not only you deny me the service in this company but treat me like i was going to scam you. Simply terrible.Reviewed 2025 Mar 02

Tried to upsell me on additional insurance even though I purchased insurance coverage through KAYAK. Then tried to scare me by saying there was a possibility that I would still have to pay a high deductible since it was not purchased through Hertz. I would have preferred a walk around to notate minor damage all around vehicle. The agent walked away and sat behind desk. When I asked that he come see damage he said there was no need since pictures were already taken. When I asked how much gas was needed when vehicle was returned. I was told "whatever shows on the fuel gauge" is what you bring it back with. The fuel gauge was 95% full. No where notated that I could see. I feel the service mediocre at best. The car itself worked fine. I was greatfull to find a car last minute for a long distance trip. You would not find any cars available through Herts website. Kayak came through and found one for me.Reviewed 2024 Feb 07
