I picked up my car at the airport in Hilo, where I live, for a weekend around the island with family. I think the car could have been a little cleaner, but it wasn't a deal breaker and the process was quick and easy. The associate at the desk was friendly and funny, Mr. Panama I will call him. we rented a full size SUV for 4 adults and a 3 year old and it was very spacious and comfortable. The only problem we had was that the drivers side rear tire would not hold air. we had to hit a gas station virtually every day to keep the pressure close to where it was supposed to be.Reviewed 2022 Feb 23

Jose did the very best with what he had to work with. However, the car type we had PAID FOR IN ADVANCE was not held for us. Jose said we had a pickup time of noon but we did not show up until 5pm. So they assumed we were no show. Why didn’t they call? The only cars he had left were Camaros and Mustangs. I realize they are premium cars but we could not get our luggage in the Camaro. Using the mustang we had to put one suitcase in the back seat. The mustang was not easy to use for our vacation purposes.Reviewed 2022 Feb 18
