Flight was delayed. Hertz where I had the reservation was closed by the time I arrived. Hertz airport location wouldn’t honor the reservation price nor would they credit the money toward the new reservation. Wasn’t able to reach kayak either. Absolutely awful. The car rental place was closed when I went to pick up my car and I was stranded. It was truly one of the most horrible experiences ever and who ever heard of a car rental being closed at 6 pm?Reviewed 2022 Jul 03

The staff was friendly and knew what they were doing. All rental car prices are outrageous at this time. My rental car was a very cute little Buick and I am used to a much larger SUV so there was a period of "getting to kow you". While waiting for my ride I was asked by a couple of men who were just hanging around the area for money. My career included many years of working with juvenile delinquents so I wasn't as put off as many people might be. I am not sure what, if anything, Hertz can do about this problem. Misleading pick up location we wanted airport and kayak mislead us to another location which had no shuttle to and from airport this spending more money and time figuring out how to pick up car. Spoke with agent and said many people are having this issue with 3rd party agents . Please let’s be kind and considerate to others and be forthcoming as 3rd party providers so others are not mislead.Reviewed 2022 Jun 07
