Customer service was poor. they were not rude but they we no helpful. The advertized rate was $11 per day but with their add ons of all the daily fees, it was almost $40 per day. I only kept the car for 2 days. It was to be 2 weeks at 641 total but they charged me $241 for only two days and no one answers the phone there to give me a breakdown.Reviewed 2026 Feb 09

The Payless location is small (being remodeled so messy) and not too attractive. They will require you to show proper insurance coverage (both collision/damage and 3rd party accident "SLI" coverage) which I had and brought proof from my policy, or they will pressure you into taking their insurance (which can be quite expensive). Overall the process of getting a car was fairly quick and efficient, and early morning return was also fairly quick, although we had to wait about 20 minutes for the airport shuttle to arrive.Reviewed 2024 Oct 30

I didn’t like that Kayak/Expedia/RentalCover.com sold me an insurance policy that Payless refuses to accept as coverage for their rental cars. Additionally, my concerns and feedback have never been acknowledged by any of those 3 entities involved in selling the policy.
