We were delayed for 5 hours 😡
The gate area had 3 flights leaving from nearby gates at the same time. Was very full and crowded. Ours was running late for some reason and we all stood in a tight area without much communication what was going on. The terminal itself had many food vendors closed already at 8:00 PM even with a full concourse.
The fight was canceled
WiFi wasn’t working, there’s no charging stations and boring snack mix
The flight was short so no food but that was ok
Pros: great customer service and easy to follow boarding plan. Cons: no where to charge devices. Very densely packed plane. Very dry pretzels were only snack on plane. They didn’t offer them until the flight was about to descend. Feels marginally better than spirit.
Luv Southwest
Boarding was slow. I think people were reluctant to take middle seats, on a completely full flight. So, probably not really a Southwest problem, but more of a traveler problem. But, still, it made us 10-20 minutes late, which was a bummer.
Very smooth…
No delays…
Southwest is the best of the budget bunch for sure

Our flight was on-time, smooth flight, nice flight attendants and crew. I would definitely recommend Southwest to anyone flying!
We were delayed boarding on time because there was only 1 gate agent, and she had to scan the people who were in wheelchairs and then take them down the bridge to the airplane, one at a time, and there were 10 people in wheelchairs. At the end, a stand by pilot and another girl came to help the gate agent assist the people in wheelchairs onto the plane. In-flight was okay, but when we landed, it was a VERY rough landing. Everyone had to hold onto their seats in front of them because the plane went from very fast to an immediate stop. Then the pilot didn't land the plane correctly in front of the bridge and we had to wait at least 30 minutes for the ground crew to connect the bridge to the plane, which didn't work and then we had to back up 3 times in order for the plane to connect to the bridge correctly. I've never been on such a worse flight, and I've flown a lot lately.
We were about 45 min late leaving waiting on peoples luggage. That made me extremely late getting home. It was extremely inconsiderate for everyone.
Likes: Order, Flexibility, Friendliness of Attendees Dislikes: Runway departure, Gate access, Luggage retrieval ( we had to wait a long time for clearance to take off, upon arrival we were on the runway for over 2 hours waiting for a gate, our luggage as well as many flights before us did not get on the belt. My husband and I had to leave to get something to eat as it was very late and only a few restaurants were still serving food. Southwest was advising passengers to come back in the morning, many lived hours away. They would not provide the service they use to provide which included delivery to home if luggage was lost or misrouted, which is what they should have offered)
Good on time flight
Late takeoff due to crew change.
Late leaving Denver to Tampa.
Everything was great
Everything was great
Flights are never on time. Almost hour delay
A lot of slow pre-boarders messed up the main boarding groups. Very slow to load bags. Internet didn't work on flight. Staff was amazing.
The flight was very late! Flight attendants were not pleasant (very unusual for SW). It was much too cold on the flight. In order to get the flight home from Oakland, we had to take a flight that required us to travel to San Diego and then to Phoenix. While we landed at Terminal 1, gate 11, in order to get to terminal 1, gate 5, we had to leave the secured area and go through TSA security again. This meant dumping the coffee that I paid a lot of money for and hadn't finished not to mention how inconvenient this simply is.
Delay after delay after delay.
The plane was delayed then they tried to go on time. We sat 40 minutes on the plane waiting for the luggage to be loaded. The plane left an hour late. We were in the air less than 20 minutes and we turned around and came back to the airport. The only thing good that happened was they found another plane. We reboarded and sat and waited for the luggage again. We got to Tampa at12:15pm. We were up at 2:55 am. Then at Tampa we waited waited for our luggage. I will say the luggage did make it. I fully expected it not to. Long day.
Same as my SLC to LAX comment.
It’s been over 20 years since 9/11 changed air travel forever. It’s been 14 years since airlines completely changed their business models after the Great Recession. It’s time for airline snacks to get back to the close to a meal size snacks with some protein or something and on 4+ hr flights a real meal that’s complimentary once again. If SW close to do this it would set them apart as not only a bargain priced airline that cares about it’s clients but also one who wants to lead the charge to get flitting back to the way it was before!
In all honesty there isn’t much I love about flying anymore. It’s a uncomfortable means to a destination. The flight staff were incredibly rude and blunt on this flight. Many of us were shocked at their behavior and gruff directions for the flight. I realize the skies have become difficult for flight attendants however their attitudes and rude messaging does not help the situation. I feel that particular flight crew should be addressed. I usually simply complain about the lack of any seat space comfort. That quite literally was the least of my concerns on this flight. I was on edge that this flight crew was going to antagonize negative feelings and reactions from passengers and quite frankly it wouldn’t have surprised me.
Flight was super late. SWA gate attendants were rude.
On board Southwest flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 60x40x25cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the Southwest assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
Southwest offers direct flights to 118 cities in 12 different countries. San Diego, Sacramento, and San Jose are the most popular cities covered by Southwest.
Southwest concentrates most of its flight operations in Denver.
