    The Budget dealer was great. It is kayak that I'm rating poor. I ordered my car through kayak. When I arrived, the dealer didn't have any cars for the price kayak had quoted me. He said this happens all the time when cars are ordered through a third party. End result is I didn't get my car on the day kayak said I would.     Reserved a truck to move a couple items that could only be moved by a truck. Made the reservation 3 days in advance. When I arrived they had no trucks of any type or size. This has happened before with Budget/Avis. I learned long ago not to prepay as they usually do not have the class of vehicle reserved and give you a lower class vehicle. Then you must spend 30 minutes on hold to get a refund on the price difference. The next time I need a simple truck, locally, I will just get a uhaul as they always have what one has reserved. Maybe Budget/Avis should use the Rental software from U-Haul. HmmmmmReviewed 2023 Apr 13

    Rental was great except for the fact that the fuel tank was not fully filled up but more like 7/8 full. As I was dealing with a time crunch it was not worth trying to sort out.Reviewed 2023 Feb 03

    The car I reserved was not available so I had to take an upgrade at a higher rate than I was quoted. The agent was obvious and uncompromising when I asked I get the upgraded rental for the same rate as my original quote. I wasn't my fault that they didn't have a similar economy car. Then, this rental car's electrical system failed and I could not get into my rental. It had to be towed and I had to get a replacement vehicle. I had to make an extra trip to the airport where I got the another car. But I still needed to get my things out of the car that was being towed away. I would have had to go back to airport a second time with the tow truck to get my things out if the tow truck driver hadn't been able to open the rental for me to get my things. I can't imagine what would had happen if this failure had occurred at night while I was out dining with my family, if I had to make flight or out of town travelingReviewed 2023 Jan 08
