The hidden fees and what I was charged vice what I paid was outrageous. I was quoted less than half of what I ended up paying. I was deeply disappointed in this type of activity. I paid upfront for the car hire. When I eventually got to the Budget hire at City Airport (including £25 taxi to get there) I was told that I could not hire a car - due to a previous driving disq (which has now expired but remains as note on license for an extra 2yts). - I was never asked about this during the hire process; - it has never stopped me hiring before (I hired a month ago, not from Budget); - I was not offered a refund WHAT IS THE POSITION THERE? - my weekend was ruined I could not get to where I was goingReviewed 2024 Jan 29

It was impossible to phone these people on Saturday morning. I returned the car one day early. It was unclear where to drop the car, but I figured it out, and then got stuck in the parking garage. I had to squeak out when a car left. I found the budget website unhelpful and also the customer support number. But overall I was delighted and the car was great. It was somewhat disconcerting that they didn’t inspect the car when I brought it in and they said I would be billed at a later time. They required rather large deposit upfront. - We were told that we if had to return the car early we won't be charged anything on top of what we have paid, even if out rental agreement had a minimum period - We were not told about the city supplement fee at pick-up nor drop-off - We were charged a damage fee for a damage that was there at time of pick-up without being sent an invoice or anything like that, money just disappeared from my account - I had to wait a total of 95 minutes on hold for someone to respond to our concernsReviewed 2022 Aug 26

Pros:Budget changed the reservation from a Premium vehicle to a compact car , with an increase in price without notifying me. When I logged onto the Budget website the reservation had been changed. I was told the rate was no longer available!!! I will not use Budget again!!!!!!!Cons:Why was my original reservation changed?
