Like having a known company. Have rented from other companies where I had to go to some little office well off site. Hertz rental location was easy to find, clean and well staffed. I knew that I could return the car after office hours and find someone there to return the car to. Their choice of car options was also important. Finally they offered a generous mileage allowance - 700 miles for 7 days.Reviewed 2022 Sep 28

Did not realise that booking through Kayak meant no insurance whatsoever. This doubled the cost! No contact from Hertz prior to pick up. Sketchy information about what was covered. Nil paperwork bar a receipt.Reviewed 2022 Aug 07
