Arrived at the pickup location waited 20 minutes in line and then the agent was completely disinterested in providing any kind of customer service. After about 10 minutes she finally told me that they didn’t have any cars available. Approximately 5 minutes later she said she had a car available but not the class I had booked. I booked a SUV and she only had a Camry for the same rate. I accepted the vehicle. Then I went out to the car and the vehicle was disgustingly dirty. Exterior was barely washed but the interior was even worse. Stains all over the seats and horrible smell. The worst part was the registration had expired in 02/2026, this was 07/2026. Completely unsafe and unacceptable. Will never rent with Budget SDF again.Reviewed 2026 Jul 24

An hour or two before I was supposed to pick up my rental, someone from Budget called to let me know he didn’t have any vehicles available. I ended up renting from enterprise at the airport.Reviewed 2026 Jun 23

I wanted a van and really needed a van. I got lucky that avis had a 7 passenger car because my only other option was a 5 seater or passenger van. Had that happened i would have been furious. I should not be worried about getting the vehicle i need when I book it in advance.Reviewed 2026 Apr 17

The staff was incredibly rude and as though you were disrupting their day by picking up your rental. It was very awkward, and just overall awful to deal with these people.Reviewed 2025 Jul 11

They informed us less than 24 hours before pickup that they didn’t have a car for us. They let us know right before closing time on Saturday. Budget couldn’t help us and neither could kayak. We will never rent with Budget or Kayak again.Reviewed 2025 Apr 10
