Watch out for insurance scam. Even if you have full coverage through a credit card, they will charge a minimum of $25 a day for extras they say are mandatory. The also say you need proof of insurance with VERY specific wording if you want to use your own insurance. Better off using one of the more popular rental companies and paying a bit more for price if kind. The car they gave me was terrible. Dents and scratches everywhere, damage under the rear bumper they claimed wasn’t there before but photos showed otherwise. If you do rent from them make sure you take a ton of photos of the car on pick or even better, a very through video.Reviewed 2023 Mar 05

Just go with the more expensive companies. This may look cheap initially, but it’s an insurance scam. They will say “we have to put a deposit for $7k USD on your credit card” and you’ll agree so you can save the $50/day they want to charge you and then you’re card won’t accept the charge (my suspicion is they know that’ll happen) and then you’ll eventually have to be charged the $50/day. Now imagine every single person before you having the same argument and how much time that takes. We were 4th in line…still took us 2 hours to get our car. Just book with the more expensive company that is at the airport and not miles away like this one.Reviewed 2023 Feb 11

First of all the insurance and fees more than doubled the price that I paid online, then when I was checking out, I told the gentleman that was doing my paperwork that I had 12:00pm as the return time, however, I wouldn’t be back until 3:00pm. He said that wouldn’t be a problem, and there wouldn’t be any charges because I would be returning it the same day. When I returned the car at 3:00, they said there would be a charge of $180 for an extra day!! I told him what the other guy had told me, he said that I was “misinformed” and that it was “their policy to charge for an extra day if you return the car after your return time!!” The fees ended up being at least triple the amount of the original cost, and the bus took around 45 minutes to get there, not the 5 minutes that they said it would take!!! I will be making some phone calls! I’ll never use this company again! What a scam!!!!Reviewed 2022 Nov 21

The price quoted and already charged was for around $30. When we got there and they demanded $230 more plus up to a $5000.00 deposit. That’s usd! Total scam! We called a taxi to leave and he said they are notorious for that. He personally picks up someone once or twice a month for the same thing.Reviewed 2022 Oct 27

This company gives you an online price and then adds fees to it regarding taxes and insurances which triples the price when arriving in person. Read the fine print before accepting their car and they do not give good quality cars. We had a 2018 March Nissan which was too compact for three people! This company engages in classic fraudulent advertising. They tell you the car costs like $7 or $10 USD per day - which is a great price! As my personal auto insurance provides coverage while renting cars, and as my personal credit card also provides coverage, I do not need to purchase duplicative insurance from the rental company. When I went to pick up the car - which is located about a 25 minute ride from the airport in Cancún, by the way - I was informed that they had to put a charge of $8,000 USD on my credit card, for the full value of the vehicle. I agreed. They then "attempted" to charge this on my card but they said that the charge was denied by the card issuer. Standing in the rental agency, I called the company and inquired about the issue, and they told me that no attempt to charge even this ridiculous amount of $8,000 had been made. The vendor then tried to to negotiate the price of the insurance with me - which I again denied. It seems that the company does some sort of trick to their credit card machines whereby it spits out a rejection slip (LIMITE EXCEDIDO), without ever attempting to charge the card this money. Then, when the car rental people tell you that the charge cannot go through, they offer you a reduced price for the insurance. In short, the low prices that are advertised are not offered. This company will NOT rent you a car if you do not purchase their very expensive, and in my case, entirely unnecessary, insurance packages. I will submit this comment to PROFECO - the Mexican Government Agency that defends consumers' rights - for further action on their end.Reviewed 2022 Aug 23
