Pros: Price. They tried to get me insurance which I secured thurs party. So $77 for insurance and $5 for the car for a week. Not bad. Almost put more in gas then that.
Cons: The condition of the car was kind of beat up, but what the hell its mexico. Bumper was loose, brakes iffy, dings and scratches and the drivers seat was not secure (shifted around on turns)
Cons: Biggest issue was we bought insurance through kayak and when we got to rental place they said it was not valid and charged us a crazy amount to insure. Would definitely not use them again. Feel like they take advantage of people not from Mexico.
Pros: Staff was friendly.
Cons: Car was an old model. Ac was not cold.
Pros: return time was good
Cons: Wait time to get car 1 hour, older car bad tires, phone charger and USB port did not work
Pros: Nothing at all never got a car rental !!!!
Cons: Everything specially don’t lie about prices insurance etc ....
Cons: Did not respect the reservation done. Never using this service again
Pros: I did NOT like that I was not able to use the insurance I purchased through Kayak with this rental company. I WASTED MY MONEY
Cons: A whole lot. How about you don’t offer insurance when the rental company is not going to accept it, requiring you to purchase additional insurance.
Pros: normal car rental but
Cons: they forced me to buy insurance i didn't need. the price in your system was a lie.
Pros: The car was nice
Cons: They did not honor the price that I booked with you guys, although I showed my confirmation for the booking they said I booked for a smaller size car (which was not true) we had car problems and got stranded with a broke down van, plus they stole some of our gas. Worst experience with a car rental
Bait and switch
Cons: They require you to buy their very expensive LDW insurance for basic liability. Even if your credit card rental car insurance covers internationally, they require proof. Not just one from the bank, which I got. But also, a second one from the Comisión Nacional de Seguros y Fianzas to prove that your credit card company (Citibank, in my case) has an agreement with them. Anyway, I ended up renting from Avis, and had a much better service.
Got to the rental place and they wanted double the amountFor the seaso
Pros: The other company that i rented the car from
Cons: Terrible
Rip off
Pros: Nothing !
Cons: I rented the car I was given a price online. I was to pay at pick up. Once I got to Mexico to pick up the car, Europcar try to charge my credit card $9,000 US Dollars for insurance protection. I declined it online because my credit card covers any theft or accidents. The gentleman at the rental place said that he needed me to send him my visas terms and conditions which I did. He then said he still needed to place a hold. Because of the large amount the bank placed a fraud alert, and shortly after he attempted to run my card for the $9,000 US dollars I saw that they had a sign in Spanish that read that if you purchase insurance with them then there would be a $5,000 Mexican pesos hold on the card. In the end because of the fraud alert and such they ended up placing the insurance I left a $700 US dollar deposit and upon return I was charged almost $200 US dollars for the vehicle which I only rented for 2 1/2 days. They overcharged me, my initial quote was for $70 US dollars. I am extremely dissatisfied. The only good news is that I called my credit card company and explained the situation and they will submit a claim so that I only pay my quoted amount. Locals told me that yes I was ripped off and that next time I should pay ahead of time rather than waiting to pay at pick up.
