I came to the Hertz location as stipulated in advance. They told me the car would be ready in two hours. I left and came back in two hours. Then, they told me the car doesn’t exist and that I’d have to go to the Pelham office, a 30 minute drive away. I had to pay for an Uber to get there. They then didn’t care about the situation. Completely unacceptable to make a booking and then not have the car at the agrees upon time. No attempt was made to contact me to tell me there was no care despite my existing reservation.Reviewed 2024 Jan 21

Called 20 mins before time of pickup and said they didn't have any cars, even though rate said guaranteed and was paid for in advance. Asked local office when they might have a car for my employee and they said, try back in 4-5 days! umm. no, bud that won't work!Reviewed 2022 Nov 16

The Hertz rental store was no where to be found at the address listed. After spending 45 minutes on the phone trying to find our rental car we were told that they were not sure what happened and where our rental car was located. We finally cancelled the reservation and did without the rental for the week. Will never use Hertz rental again. Terrible experience!!Reviewed 2022 Jan 09

Pros:NothingCons:The wait for a car would have been 2 hours. There were no cars available, I had a reservation but that did not matter. Employees not truthful! I completed the initial paper work that included paying A security deposit if 500 dollars. I CANCELLED MY RESERVATION AND WENT TO AVIS THAT WAS 10 STEPS TO THE LEFT OF HERTZ FRONT COUNTER. Berminham Airport. You have morons working for you. This is your review and do not contact me, if you do I will expose you on social media and start a campaign of ni or using HertzReviewed 2021 May 30

Pros:Staff was exhaustingly slow. Car wasn’t full of gas. Check engine light came on during trip, tire pressure came on during trip, the USB port had been ripped out, car didn’t appear to have been cleaned. AwfulCons:All of the above.Reviewed 2021 Apr 13
