Pros: Drop off was easy, pick up was horrible and took over 1 and a 1/2 hours
Cons: More staff so there was someone at the desk. Not just one covering the desk, kiosk and bringing more cars from another lot.
Pros: The lady at the Hertz counter in Norfolk was very friendly and I had to drop off the vehicle before they opened in Myrtle Beach and the drop off was very easy.

Pros: Staff was okay.....vehicle was dirty inside and out also smelled like someone smoked in vehicle so I requested another vehicle ......... I did received a vehicle that had just been returned( I requested it) They washed and cleaned it .It worked out fine for me but I had to put a air freshener in there because that vehicle smelled as if someone smoked in there as well. Overall, the vehicle performed well during my usage.
Cons: Never assign a vehicle to someone that need to be clean...communicate among employees ... someone should have known that the vehicle needed cleaning before leasing it out to a customer. I never experience this with a car rental site(location) before. I dealt with Hertz plenty of times.... never had a problem

Cons: The pickup was TERRIBLE. First got there & the power was out. All of rental car companies were still working but hertz was not. Reserved a standard SUV online. They didn’t have one when I got there so they wanted to give me a smaller SUV. Went to the smaller SUV & tire was flat. Had to go back inside, wait on line again, then get a compact car. By the time I got the car, I was 3 hours behind. Experience was terrible & they only gave me a voucher for $60 to use in the future instead of refunding my money or at least knocking my price down. THEY STILL CHARGED ME FOR THE FULL SIZED SUV! Tried to call customer service & got hung up on 5 times accidentally with no call back either time. Customer service was terrible and I feel like I have back problems due to the size of the car but I needed to get to my destination. Already submitted a complaint to the BBB & thinking of legal action.

Pros: No they were not they were difficult at best. The service was extremely slow. My car was supposed to be cleaned and sanitized. I cleaned the car out before I took it back I found candy wrappers in the console and under the floor mats. Made me wonder if my car was even cleaned at all.

Cons: Gas on return was $9.99 per gallon Rip off. Not expecting that charge. Was told to return car empty. False advertising!
Cons: I reserved a small, compact car for decent gas mileage; was given a large van, a Pacifica. Front desk attendant seemed to be annoyed; I'd attribute this to the Law Enforcement tee I was wearing; there was no walk around the car to check for previous damage; no option to fill gas tank upon arrival at my location.

Cons: The website allowed me to make an order that was apparently impossible to fulfill and I did not receive any notice of this until I was at the rental counter 8 hours from home. Car was due maintenance and not the type of vehicle ordered.
