Pros: Because CORVID-19 spikes, we canceled a trip. We canceled a rental car from Sixt and Collision Damage Coverage from Allianz Global Assistance. We expected to have full refund. But, we were very disappointed as below.
We expected to have full refund of $77 from Allianz Global Assistance. But, we got none.
For Sixt, we have to paid $114.16.

Pros: Never got to rent the vehicle, trip was cancelled by the airlines and the rental car company would only reimburse me $58 from the $275 that I paid. They told me that I could make another reservation, but would not allow me to make the reservation far enough out for my needs (1 yr).
Cons: Reimburse customers when trips are cancelled due to no fault of their own.
Cons: The check in was disorganized and the employees were not interested in doing their job. No one at CO yet for at least 25 minutes and when someone finally showed up the informed is that the person that could help us was in the restroom. Then we watched an employee walk leisurely from the elevators to the counter looking at all the people in line as she sauntered slowly across the parking garage. When we got our turn they did not have a car available. They offered a different car but it was $200 more than the car we reserved . We agreed just to get out of there, then they realized their computer was not working. While they all stared at each other for several minutes with no idea what to do, I suggested that they already had my credit card and license and could I take the car and they could email me any paperwork since we had been standing there for so long. They said no I couldn’t take the car but there was a manual form they could fill out. One of the employees said he knew where they were and we watched helplessly as he slowly shuffled across the parking garage to the same general area where the other employee was before. I am not exaggerating that is took this employee 5 minutes to walk across the garage. He disappeared for another 10 than we watched him slowly walk back. It was painful. When he arrived with the all important forms, the desk employee informed us that the computer was now working. Charged us full price and sent us on our way. Probably the worst customer experience 8 have ever had I. The car rental industry.
Cons: SUV needed an oil change. Every time I start vehicle from day 1, it was showing message that oil change is needed now. Apart from pop up msg, vehicle DIDN’T stop.
Pros: Car was quite new, fully featured and clean. Good value.
Cons: The pick up experience was pretty bad - there was no-one at the desk, no sign to say what to do / where to go, once I did get to a person, they were rude, sullen and did not communicate well.
Pros: PIckup at San Jose was awesome, Fast and Courteous. They didn't have the car I had booked and with no questions asked or any type of run around I was upgraded at no cost for a vehicle that worked for me.
Cons: I dropped off at Las Vegas. I didn't like that no one was there to check in my vehicle on a Tuesday morning. It was 6:45 am and I had to leave it in a long line of other returns. I also had to walk to the airport car rental terminal to catch the bus. No Service, No Shuttle and when I tried to call Customer Service I got no answer just the standard computer run around.
Pros: I didn't like the way the staff got at me when I first came in to check in i mean priceline already took my money and then staff said oh we can't take your card because its debit then he started calling me buddy and I didn't like that he called everybody else sir so I told him I would like to talk to a manager and he called and spoke for me i did not like that I was embarrassed he got alittle loud with me it was poor service I feel I should get a free rental

Cons: Their customer service seems nice at first, but will contradict themselves. I placed a reservation, then had to cancel because their website had defaulted our drop off location to the wrong destination. This was confirmed by the rep via phone. They said they would issue a refund, but had then changed their story for no apparent reason. Their management then will then ignore your emails. For a company who claims to "put the customer first" they should practice what they preach.
Cons: Staff arrived 1:20 minutes later than stated opening time and 20 minutes after the rental was supposed to start. The car had clearly not been cleaned as evidenced by the numerous loose hairs found within the car. I was given a much larger car than reserved, and had to argue to get put back into a more reasonably sized one to avoid the excess fuel costs of a Highlander vs a smaller car. Would not rent from Sixt again for anything important or for <$50/day difference. Genuinely atrocious customer service, and was unable to get ahold of a human on the phone.
Cons: I never ended up renting a car because my mother went into quarantine due to Corona virus. Since I booked the rental way ahead of time, they will not give me a refund. So I basically paid for a full rental without being able to rent the car after all. There's something in the rules that say they will not refund you if you booked it a couple months early because it's beyond their short period of time. I will never use these guys again. It punishes you for planning ahead. I tried to reach customer service when I found out that I wasn't able to rent the car and they would not let me talk to them because I was not an immediate rental at that time. I went online to try and cancel, and it told me that my charge was the full charge for my car. I had already paid ahead of time and received separate insurance . My insurance was refunded with no problem.
Pros: Staff was helpful and to the point. Fast check-in, fast to grab keys, and fast check-out.
Cons: For my experience this time, it was good.
