This was a one way rental, and they tried to stick me with an electric vehicle, knowing that it would force me to have to pay the upgrade fee, since you literally can't get there from here.Reviewed 2024 Jun 23

Your web site told me that I would be getting a Jeep Compass or similar car from Hertz for a certain price. When I got to Burbank, they Hertz employees had not seen a Jeep Compass come through in months and offered me a Kia--which I could have rented from multiple other car companies for much less than what Hertz was charging me. Super frustrating that I picked Hertz because of their offer, which was totally inaccurate. I won't be using them again:Reviewed 2024 Jun 21

We rented an electric car, we arrived and we were told that they do not have a car at all. We waited for 5 hours and was finally offered an F150 which is completely opposite of an electric vehicle in terms of gas consumption. They told us that they do not have anything in their lot and if we don’t take it, we won’t have any car. Bad bad planning on their end. Look at their reviews. Reserved a car for my daughter, traveling home from university, during the busy holiday season. The final leg of her trip required a four hour drive home from the airport. When the flight arrived and a rental confirmation email in hand, she was told they had no cars available with a shrug and a "good luck with that" response. Luckily Budget Rentals saved the day. The only thing that was good is the price I found on the rental through HERTZ, though I had to end my trip early from the rental car breaking down. I was being offered uber/ lift rides and another rental but I was done and just wanted to go home. It would take the representative awhile getting that together he stated so they got a tow truck and I just opted to have a family member pick me up which sounded the fastest option. After that I kept calling HERTZ and each representative would tell me that my rental was not reported as turned in early, etc or where it was left from the towing vehicle. Was almost fed up, not choosing HERTZ again. Still waiting on my refund and have to call the fourth time about the rental.Reviewed 2021 Dec 12

I scheduled a pickup with this business at 6pm. They were not open at the time of my appointment. I called the first thing the next day and they said my car had been rented. I called their corporate. Customer service line. I asked to speak with a supervisor. The representative said the supervisor would call me back the next day. They never did call back.Reviewed 2021 Nov 16
