Pros: I was quote a total of $176.00 on the phone and was total that was all taxes and ete, then when I go to get the car now it's $201 because of taxes. I feel I was lied too.
Cons: The car itself was not very clean and had dents on it, even the front license plate was bent out. Very disappointed in Hertz!!
Pros: All staff in Indy airport were excellent, friendly and very helpful.

Cons: my return near Loveland, Ohio was a place that afternoon was closed. Was not noted on my ticket. We had to drop off in another town, this was on a Saturday. When staff got there that next Monday they said it was returned on Monday. I called customer service (was end of September) and they have still not refunded my money. Today is Oct. 24th. The last time I talked to Customer service they said they were understaffed ! Time of a lot more calls !!!
Cons: I was NOT notified that you were taking a 200 dollar deposit when I booked with Kayak. When will I get that returned to me?
Cons: Ten days in advance, I paid and reserved an SUV for noon on 9/26/2020. When I arrived at 11:55am, I was told they had no vehicles available. I was told to come back later (2 pm) and they MIGHT have a car available then. Poor customer service. I had to change my plans and wait to pick up a vehicle from another company the next day as well as pay for another rental. I was told to call the Hertz customer service line to get a refund. I called and the representative told me they had no cars available at any of their locations. I requested a refund, I was told I would be refunded and emailed within an hour of the receipt showing the refund. That never happened. I am now disputing the charges with my credit card company.
Cons: We reserved a car about 3 hours before we needed it (emergency situation) and when we arrived they told us there were no cars!? If there are not cars, do not allow people to make reservations thinking they have a car! We would have gone somewhere else. Awful.
Pros: I booked a car the previous night and when I showed up they said they booked my car to someone else. I understand it was it was a surge weekend but a service like this should inform the customer so they are not left stranded. Not inclined to come back.
Cons: Inform the customer if you are unable to fulfill a rental agreement.
Cons: Scheduled a car far in advance to take my family on vacation. The store closed at 5:30, and we received a voicemail at 6 stating that the didn’t have a car. Thinking that they just didn’t have my rental car type, I started to leave for Hertz and called. Sure enough they “had no cars” when I called on my way for my reservation. They “refunded” my money but I ended up spending $150 more and had to scramble to find a car for a family vacation. What a poor way to do business. Save your time and $ and book with a different company. Very disappointing!!
Pros: Picking up the car at the airport location was very easy. Outside of them trying to find a car for me, pretty seamless

Pros: Took a long time to get picked up. Girl at the counter kept getting told my reservation of a truck was negative. Took several different call’s back and forth Drop off was excellent.
Cons: Better communication between front desk and parking garage where the cars are kept.
Pros: It was a good car. That was very dependable.
Cons: The car smelled horrible, the cars gas only had a quarter of a tank, it’s key fob was broken so you had to manually open and lock the car, and the man working at this location was very rude. I will not be using the Shadeland Hertz location ever again.
