Cons:

I did not end up keeping the Kayak reservation. I received a phone call from someone saying they were from Enterprise asking if I still wanted the car. Then they asked me for a phone number for an emergency contact. Then they asked for my email. I told them that I had entered it online and they said that was the website, this was the counter. I refused to answer more questions. When I went back to look at my reservation, I realized that I had been booked at a counter over 30 minutes from the airport, even though I had searched for LAX rental cars. I cancelled and booked directly with Enterprise and made sure it was the airport location. All in all, a bad experience that could have been much worse. I could have missed my meeting in LA.

Pros:

Nothing. You sent me to the wrong location. I asked for LAX airport. I even called to confirm my reservation was LAX airport and was told YES get on shuttle bus at LAX. after a long line wait at car rental was told it was for Korea town location and 30 minute Cab ride away.

Cons:

Will never se Kayak again and will advise everyone to do the same

Cons:

At least have cars for customers that have reservation, Made my reservation 5 days in advance, got there no cars. Trying to get my mom out the houes from cabin fever, didn't happen ,very disappointed.

Pros:

The manager Sam was very nice and the car itself was nice

Cons:

The two original customer service counter ppl that I encountered. The gentleman was rude and charged my card a number of times for twice the rental fee and instead of listens to me to correct his mistakes got rude and offensive and lied to his manger. The second customer service counter help female told me she did me a favor by voiding the transaction that had already been charged to my card for three times the rental confirmation amount and I had never even received a rental or keys. The service at this place was beyond horrible. Thankfully Sam was there to intervene. It amazes me this man keeps his sanity with this in-adequate staff. He deserves better than the colleagues he has to manage.

Car was excellent and provided exactly what we needed during our trip. The drop-off was a tad difficult due to reasons outside of Avis' control (heavy traffic in drop-off location's area).

Reserved a SUV. While standing in line to be served, the guy upgraded the guy in front of me to their last SUV. I ended up getting a F150 that had no oil in it's engine and broke down on the way home. Cost me an extra day to get home, a night in Modesto, a pissed off wife and a lot off gas. Avis did their best to make things right. But beware of renting from the 3600 Wilshire Blvd location.

It was the most beat up car that I have every rented from a major agency. Because we were pressed for time, we took it rather than ask for another one.

The car was a little dirty when I picked it up, staff provided good service the only problem we had was that the tire of the rental we got had low air pressure on tire so we had to stop at gas station to put air and of course just our luck the first one we stopped at was not working so we had to go to another gas station and put air, just felt like it was an inconvenience for us because car should not have any issues at all being rented out. Overall everything else was okay and we didn’t have any other issues with vehicle.
