This was my first time renting a car with SIXT and it was wonderful. The staff was professional courteous and answered all my questions.The car was clean the tank was full and all of my expectations were not only met but exceeded. I prepaid for my reservation. Upon arriving I was endlessly bombarded with “upgrades”, including an upgrade to a BMW 2, when I had prepaid for a BMW 3! Once we settled on the car, they informed me they couldn’t complete the transaction and handed me a pamphlet with a phone number for customer service. They said I would have to call and resolve the issue over the phone. What the issue was they couldn’t say. Fine, I called the number. Surprise, it was out of service. So I had to rent from another company. Upon finding a way to contact SiXT via email (no phone numbers to be located anywhere), I asked for a refund. I was told that due to sound business practices they were not going to issue a refund. Wow!Reviewed 2022 Feb 05
