Cons:
It's my own fault for not investigating closer, but I was under the impression that my San Francisco rental would be picked up at the airport. When I arrived at said airport with my husband, two kids, 4 suitcases, 4 backpacks, and 2 car seats, I was informed by a rude National employee that my rental was to be picked up at the train station, which was at least 30 minutes away, and she could do nothing to help me. I ended up renting a car from Alamo by calling and reserving a car on the spot. I am unlikely to use Kayak again.Economy Rent a Car

Convenient downtown location to those of us who do not want to go to the airport.Cons:
The trunk latch broke when I got my luggage out upon arriving at my destination. I had to take a shoelace out of my sneaker to tie the trunk shut!!2.0 Poor

I arrived 3 hours after my reservation began and after waiting approximately 45 minutes in line I was told that they were sold of cars despite already charging. Caveat emptor!Cons:

waited forever (1 hr to pick up) , the car was cleaned but some objects were left behind from previous renters, charges and rates were not super easy to decide on. I had to do a lot of the work I expected the staff to do (walk around the car and mark chips & digs). very slow!10.0 Wonderful
