check-in was too longPros:The check-out person at the garage was very nice.Cons:We waited in line for almost 30 minutes to get our car, and the rep, who was very nice, moved at a snails pace. By the time we got to our car, we had to wait another 10+ minutes as there was a line of cars getting checked out to leave the garage. Cheap car rental, but poor employee trainingPros:Was economical. Car was fine, pretty typical rental process.Cons:Employees are trained to try to get you to purchase all the useless extras. The counter pickup experience is very slow, with the process sometimes taking 20-30 minutes for a single customer as they try to convince them that the insurance and extras are worth it. It's not that much different than other rental places, but definitely slower and slightly more obnoxious. Still, I'll always go with the cheapest rental.Reviewed 2018 Mar 12

Will NEVER rent with Advantage againPros:Good price, nice carCons:Our flight was changed due to a storm and when I called Advantage, the phone agent said as long as we picked it up within 24 hours of our original reservation, the car would be held for us and no changes needed to be made for the reservation. However, when we arrived, with our young children who had just traveled by plane, the car had NOT been held for us and we'd been marked down as a "no show." When we told the agent at the desk (Alexandra Garcia in Boston) that we'd called ahead, she said we could pay extra for a more expensive car, but she took no responsibility for the problem and was incredibly rude. lying, deceiving, hustling employees at the kioskCons:bad for business lying manipulative employees will try not come back will post all my experience on social media they will try to sell you anything that is already included and you paid for. like electronic toll box on the front window.its there,installed,but they will lye to you and will try to sell it to you for 35 bucks.THE TOLLS ARE CHEAPER THEN THAT. and so on and on .....Manipulators.Reviewed 2018 Mar 10

Terrible experiencePros:NothingCons:We ended up losing our money and not renting the car. They were unable to accomodate one extra day without charging us an additional $195. Pros:The car ran great, had great gas mileage, and was an easy pick up and drop off for a great price.Cons:I was recommended against a toll booth scanner (Ez pay) and it would have actually been very useful. Instead it added a significant amount to my driving time to avoid toll booths that did not have cash option.Reviewed 2018 Feb 24
