Pros: They would not rent us the car because we are Colorado residents
Cons: Could have told us about their policy of not renting larger vehicles to Colorado residents when we reserved the car so we could have reserved a car elsewhere
Pros: Best price
Cons: Pick up line was really long and office was very dusty.... Was thankful they were able to fulfill our reservation as there were very few cars available.
Pros: Quick shuttles
Cons: Snow scraper in the car. We had to ask for one.
Cons: The reservation had no car reserved!!!
Pros: The first person who assisted me was very nice and help me getting a better car for the snow so I upgraded to a 4x4 SUV my rent
Cons: having the car clean no with mud and dust and papers and stuff inside plus with wash fluid because at the middle of my trip from Denver to Vail I got the low wash fluid sign the first time I used it so obviously before getting to Vail I ran out of wash fluid in the middle of a snow storm which made the beginning of my trip very dangerous because of a lack of supervision from your company which delivered a car which has recently dropped at your facilities, very bad honestly.
Cons: I tried to cancel the reservation as there were duplicates made and all parties kept passing me off to someone else.
Pros: The lady who assisted us in dropping off the car was very pleasant and I appreciated that, as it was very cold and early. The shuttle to the airport was prompt and helpful.
Cons: I had reserved a car for around $200 online. When I arrived (after standing in a line for over 30 minutes) I was told that I had to have an AWD vehicle by state law. I "was lucky" and they had 1 AWD vehicle left in stock. It took my total to $755. If that is the case, why even have the other vehicles available to rent in the first place? I saw plenty of people driving non-AWD rental cars and they presumably didn't get fined. I was also urged to purchase a toll pass for $9.99/day because "I would definitely go through multiple tolls". I didn't go through one toll and had to pay $69.93 for nothing. It seems like a big scam and rip off. I hope that NO ONE is taken "advantage" of like I was again.
Pros: Farah, who welcomed me at the counter, was very personable and professional.
Cons: The car was dirty inside and out. probably due to the previous day's snowstorm. In addition, the gas tank was not full although hard to tell from the gauge. It was only obvious when refilling.
Pros: Not much other than the car worked fine and was available
Cons: Not being snaked into a price that wasn’t real. Upon arrival I find out I “need” a 4 wheel drive. There goes an additional 100 bucks to my charge. The staff who helped me was cold and unwelcoming.
Pros: The process itself was fairly quick, checking the car back in was a breeze
Cons: The staff leaves a lot to be desired. Pushing unnecessary extras, rude when we politely declined them. All around grouchy.
Cons: The car was disgustingly dirty and reeked of cigarette and marijuana smoke. There was soda spilled all over the backseats. There was no windshield wiper fluid in the reservoir. They scammed me on an up charge for an SUV in the mountains to become a four-wheel-drive! I would rather walk then use advantage Rent-A-Car ever again. It reflects on you as much as on them. I would steer clear of both of you.
Pros: Nothing in particular.
Cons: 40 min. wait for shuttle pickup. $200 additional charge for a car with awd. Cheap operation. Won’t use them in Denver again.
