The lady at the counter at Chicago Ohare pickup fought me for 45 minutes and did not want to honor what we booked (in this case a 7 seater SUV). It wasn’t so much the make and model as these aren’t guaranteed but more so that we needed 7 seats which was guaranteed per our reservation. She told me multiple times they didn’t have any 7 seater vehicles. Finally, after 45 minutes, I got the car type that we reserved. She was rude and unpleasant. Would not recommend renting from Alamo in Chicago!Reviewed 2023 Jun 04

It was a good experience, good customer service and easy process. Only down side was that the car was not clean around the dashboard and gear control area and I had to use wipes to clean it.Reviewed 2023 May 23

Lucked out with the pick up. No line at all, whereas other brands at the rental car center had massive ones. Not sure what that says about Alamo, but I was happy. Then, when I returned the car, something extraordinary happened. I had forgotten to refill the gas tank (after 200 miles of driving), and I mentioned it to the attendant (“I made an amateur mistake – failed to buy gas”). He thanked me for letting me know, and told me that he would take care of it. And he did. Saved me about $80! Can’t imagine that Alamo would want to do that on a regular basis, but it was a delightful surprise.Reviewed 2023 Apr 22

The rental was very nice and very clean. Pick-up was a little tricky (not knowing the tram ride), but dropping off the rental couldn't have been any easier. I will use Alamo again when visiting Chicago in the future. Thanks...........JoeReviewed 2023 Mar 20
