Pros: I never got my car! I arrived at the pickup locaton only to have them tell me they had no cars. They then sent me running to another hertz location 20 minutes from the original location for them not to have any cars either. We then spent $41.65 on a Lyft to go to Midway airport Hertz only for them not to have any cars either! I was livid, I will never use Hertz ever again. What a terrible experience and shitty start to our trip
Pros: Provide out of state car to customer with smoking smelling. Even they said enhance cleaning, but it’s not clean and bad smelling, engine light is on all of time. Never advise customer to use EZ pass for toll chargers on highway.....
Cons: Please check the car before giving to customers. If you have payment devices to pay the toll fee, please advise to tourists.
Cons: The Hertz office at the airport closed at 8pm so when we arrived everyone was gone. We had to rent a car from Alamo.

Cons: Horrible customer service, dirty car, forget about the reservation time, you will be given a car when it comes in. I waited an hour and half after my pick up time. Remember they charge a $50 concessions fees for their rental of the parking lot. So, what is the rental fees for?
Cons: Dirty. Charged me for being half hour early. They said full, but no, it was three gallons down.
Cons: Four days prior to my pick0upn date, had made my appointment for pick-up at 11am, as I had to drive to a meeting in another state. When I arrived, the car was not ready. They informed me that it had to be cleaned and it would be a 1-2 hour wait. This was eventhough I had made an appointment in ADVANCE. They did not apologize or offer to fix the issue in any way. They just expected me to wait, inside the car rental center, during a pandemic, for a car that should've been ready.
I waited for an hour and when I returned to the counter to inquire as to whether the car was ready, they informed me that they had cleaned a car, but it had a slight dent, so I'd have to wait another hour or two for another car to be cleaned.
I asked them if they needed my cell number, so I could wait outside, so I could socially distance during Covid. They said they had it.
After another 1.5 hours, I returned and asked again about my car. They said not yet, but I should give them my credit card information. Finally, after 2+ hours of waiting, the car was ready. It was not the car I requested. Again, no apology.
Once in the car, I checked all the necessary features such as windshield wiper fluid (it was snowing), lights, etc. They all worked. However, as soon as I got on the freeway, where there was a lot of salt on the road for snow, the windshiled wiper fluid ran out. It was EXTREMELY dangerous. I could not see, I had to pull over on the freeway multiple times to wipe off the windshield. After finally finding a gas station, buying fluid (with my own monery), and filling up the EMPTY windshielf wiper fluid, I was able to finally see.
Needless to say, I missed my appointment due to the delay and car issues. I am VERY dissapointed in Hertz. I rented from the Chicago airport, which is a large hub, so they should've been prepared. When I dropped off the car, no effort was made to ammend the issues I experienced. Never again HERTZ!
Cons: Despite having a confirmed reservation we waited an hour for a car when we arrived. Midway through our trip the “check engine” light went on and the engine started shutting off - we drove two hours out of our way to exchange the car because they told us that’s where they had comparable vehicles. We waited an hour for a car, as they had none available, before being given a car that was not comparable to what we had AND reeked of cigarette smoke. They did give us a price adjustment upon return but were very unpleasant to deal with
Pros: Staff extremely helpful and friendly
Pros: The car was freshly washed and obviously sprayed out with a "cover scent".
Cons: The car smelled thickly of cigarette smoke that only seemed to get worse during the week. The clerk at the desk was obviously struggling to stay calm as there were a number of customers turned away due to lack of vehicles and scrambling to fill reservations. The statement that the vehicle seated seven was overly optimistic. Maybe seven young children, but six adults were difficult to cram into the car for long periods of time.
Pros: Very easy to pick up and drop off. Staff was nice!

Cons: The car was not in good condition. The check engine light was on when they gave it to us, the interior of the vehicle smelled like weed. There was no windshield washer fluid, and the exterior of the car was very scratched up.
