Cons:No one felt the need to share with me that I couldn't rent with my Visa debit. I get to the airport to pick up my rental just to be told you have to use a major credit card. I was told I am sorry and there is nothing I could do the day of my trip. I reserved the vehicle in February and was disappointed and embarrassed in July. Never again.Reviewed 2017 Jul 17

Not what I orderedPros:Pickup and drop off procedures were very efficient and the Jax aiport on site drop off was very convenient.Cons:The ordering process is not as efficient and not communicated well at all. I got the special premier car and the total was $115.00 for four days. When I arrived at the Alamo desk, the "premier" car was a pick up truck. I have no issue with trucks, but it is not efficient nor convenient for a vacation vehicle and to get a different vehicle raised the price to $240. I could have gotten the same car cheaper had I not been drawn in by a price that probably doesn't even exist.Reviewed 2017 Feb 21

Specialty car? More like Specialty bus!Pros:Front desk was friendly enough to offer me a changed vehicleCons:I rented a specialty vehicle hoping for a convertible or something sporty- and was given a 15 seat bus! Alamo insisted on me paying extra to get a realistic car which was very frustrating.Reviewed 2017 Feb 20

ShadyPros:The dropoff people were great. Really nice, very helpful, etc.Cons:I prepaid for for the rental, which was $85. The lady at the desk handed me the keys and said it would be $234. I told jer that's not right and she said let me check and then said it would be $135. She said the extra was for insurance. I told her I have insurance, so she finally took the extra money off. Beware of them trying to trick you like this. Also the car was nasty. Dog hair and crumbs everywhere.Reviewed 2017 Feb 05
