Car was nice. No check in when I returned the car and no instructions on what to do. The overwhelmed desk agent (too many customers, not enough staff) told me just to leave the keys in the car.Reviewed 2023 May 15

There was one person working at counter and when finally serviced the car we received was dirty and had a maintenance light come on while we were driving through the desert . Did not feel secure. For the price I paid , I would have expected better . While I waited in line the 2 people in front of me returned with problems with their rental cars . Definitely not a good experience .Reviewed 2023 May 02

Customer Service Agent Roy at the Ontario Airport Location is the most disrespectful, unprofessional, arrogant representative I've ever experienced. He shouldn't be in customer service at all. A very bad representation to the company. It's time for him to retire ASAP. I will NEVER rent at Avis due to his unprofessionalism. Car broke down on me first day using it and almost left me stranded, I barely made it home before the car died and then trying to get ahold of someone to help me was a nightmare. I tried calling the actual store that I rented from but kept getting sent to a national customer service and kept getting different answers from different people. Tow truck took 4 hours to get to me after calling for it. Still trying to get a refund since I only got to use the car for 1 of the 4 days I rented it. Will not be going backReviewed 2022 Aug 22
