Team told me that do you want too service activated as I was going through the toll gate, however she didnt mentioned to me that it has a separate charge and didnt specifiy how much the toll service fees will cost me. When I received 29$ (including VAT) charges, I called them and that time they told me this is the cost. I also checked online, wherein the toll services should have been only around $10 (excluding VAT), however not sure about this charge. Spoke with the agent, he said, they will issue a coupon for $29 for this miscommunication, however didnt receive it yet.Reviewed 2026 Sept 02

The pickup experience was awful. Waited an hour to get the car after making a reservation weeks ago. Also they added $200 dollars to the pickup fee which I didn’t appreciate. It was refunded at delivery. They had my credit card number, why do they need to do that? Won’t ever rent from Budget at Ohilly airport again.Reviewed 2026 Jul 30

#1 The line isn't a bother to get the car. But I've never experienced a line to pick up the car. We got our reservation and waited in line, in 90° heat for 20min. #2 I was charged twice. I was told my credit card didnt go through. IMPOSSIBLE, so we run it again. Again im told it declined. So I pull out my debit card and she says, it went through. Then once outside I see I had been charges on my debt card and credit card. The exact same amount. #3 I could have sworn I had prepaid for the car. Only to be charged again at the counter. The vehicle kept being changed, Twice, and each time the rental increased. The explanation was mechanical issue with then original car. Which makes no sense since there are multiple version of the car and car class on their lot. Then upselling toll tags cheaper options exist but were not presented and when questioned said they dont exist. Having traveled most of my professional career i knew differently, but due to the circumstances, a family emergency, i had to go with their deal.
