Staff at Fayetteville were terrible. Greensboro staff was knowledgeable, but first car was not cleaned and ended up with electrical issues and we had to return to Greensboro. Lost over 4 hours on road to backtrack. Next car was also not sealed after sanitizing and was 1,400 miles and 5 months overdue for oil change. THIRD car was fine. Terrible car rental experience.

Unfortunately no cars were available for pickup even though we booked a car. The girl at the desk said they tried to get ahold of us, but we didn’t receive an email. They asked us to come back when they could possibly have a car for us but again, we didn’t receive a phone call, email or cancellation of the reservation. I now have to dispute the charges with my credit card company.

it was deja vu all over again. The last time I rented from Hertz I upgraded from a midsize altima to a full size car. Hertz gave me an Altima and said it was a full size. This time I rented a full size suv ie armada,Pathfinder;Explorer. They provided me with a ..Kia Sorrenta which is classified as a mid size suv. Once again Hertz said it was afull size suv I will never rent from Hertz again because they have their own classification system that allows them to downsize you from what you expected and paid for.

My reservation was for 3 days and was quoted for $970. The car I was given looked like a clown car. The agent refused to provide me a safer car even though I was paying almost $1000 for a 3 day rental. There were tons of cars in the Hertz parking lot. She was unapologetic and made no effort or attempt to appear to be interested in accommodating my request. She should not be in customer service. very disappointed, had to void my whole reservation.

The car we got was clearly used by a smoker before we got it. It stank. They did a terrible job of cleaning it. There was only one car in the category we rented so we had no choice but to take it.

The first car, the truck did not open or close with clicker or button on the trunk door. We had to change cars because it was difficult to close manually. The second car we received did not have a clicker control button or a button on the truck. It had to be opened manually. The clicker with the second car also for some reason did not lock the doors. I instead had to lock the doors with the inside button. I could only unlock the doors with the clicker. I didn’t realize the issue until I left and went to lock the doors. Small issues but not happy with the inconvenience.

Car was great on gas, Clean and dependable. Your system for departure and return, nothing short of the worst rental experience I ever had. Your card reader in Greensboro PTI airport failed to read the strip on the same card used to place the reservation. The clerk informed me that 1. you have no chip readers, 2. He was not at liberty to put the number in manually, 3. cash was not an option and 4. a debit card was also not acceptable. Being told that I was out of luck 700 miles from home left me with no other option than to have my friend come to the airport and change the reservation to his card and add me as an additional driver for which the service charge was a modest 70 dollars! I was also forced to purchase a 100 dollar GPS after being told that none of your cars had their GPS activated! How do you run a car rental company in 2021 like this?! I am a reasonable person. I would have most likely deleted this survey email had I not been breathtakingly dissapointed in this whole transaction. Do better.
