Pros: I had reserved a car for travel. When I arrived I was told there was no car available. I had to drive to the airport and try to find a rental there.
The young man there was very helpful and polite. He helped me find a car but the entire process was very frustrating. Time consuming and frustrating.
Cons: When you reserve a car for a trip you expect to have a car reserved. It was poorly handled and I am not sure how you can get away with not honoring a confirmation. I feel quite sure I am not the only one this has happened to as we witnessed another customer being told the same thing. I am not sure how your company finds this acceptable in this day and time with as much feed back that customers are able to express on social media. Individuals plans and itineraries are extremely important to them when they need a car for traveling. I have also tried to reach someone by phone today unsuccessfully. Put or hold forever or just no answer. Unacceptable!

Cons: I will never rent from this company again!!! It has the worst customer service ever!! I spent over 4 hours on the phone..... 3 separate calls .... to see if I could get a larger vehicle. Long story short... I didn’t get a larger vehicle AND I was charged $100 to cancel the reservation. The company basically stole $100. I was trying to move my daughter across the country to college and they didn’t care. Free $100.
Pros: Excellent staff at this location. The car was a pleasure to drive (GMC Acadia). Kayak found the absolute best price and I won't forget that for future trips.

Pros: The station manager Vera, went out of her way to help me arrange pickup. The vehicle was as expected and the return was super easy. Overall, one of the best rental experiences I have had. Thank you!

Cons: Car could have been immediately ready;car could have been clean;there could have been a refund for unused rental time;The hertz storefront could have been clean and tidy. It looks shabby, unclean and badly needs a paint job.
Pros: The return was easy.
Cons: In rented a minivan but at pickup they stated that the van had been sold and was no longer available. I had to get an SUV instead, which was not ideal as I was traveling with small children and was needing the storage and convenience of a van. The car I received had not been cleaned well.
Severely understaffed when I went to return vehicle. Very capable staff member but no additional help. Over 5 people waiting for service, phone ringing incessantly and I felt sorry for him. Poor management strategy to handle a busy Saturday business day with shortened hours this way.
Cons: Be PREPARED to wait. I won't use HERTZ ever again. Bad taste in my mouth.
Pros: I had a terrible experience with Hertz. I got a call 2 hours before my arrival that they were sorry, but they would not have a car for me (even though I had a reservation). Their only solution was to suggest I try another Hertz location. They, too, were out of cars.
Cons: Since the other Hertz was also out of cars, they had NO other ideas. I was just in a new place, needing a car and completely out of luck. Thank goodness for Alamo - they got me all set up and thankfully didn't charge me an outrageous rate.

Pros: The van that we received in Greensboro was just plain awesome. I didn’t realize that Chrysler was manufacturing these nice vans. This is the first time in my life I’m really considering purchasing an American car.
