The initial price was fair. However they were SEVERELY under staffed and had to wait nearly THREE HOURSSSSSSSSSSSS in line to pick up the car. Then on the back end I was billed an additional $100 of charges that were unclear and unexplained. I would never rent from them again. Ever.Reviewed 2023 Sep 23

Pros:Drop off was smooth.Cons:The price was exorbitant!!! So ripped off. By the time extra fees (no not insurance — service fees, taxes, pre-pay gas charge and a toll pass that we barely needed costing over $160) were added on our car cost about $100/day and multiplied by three weeks was outrageous. And this with only one driver. To add a second driver would have cost another $10.99/day. They took full advantage of a consumer who didn’t know the area. Car was dirty. Dollar Rental is an oxymoron. Their name should be Thousands of dollars rental. Research everything and know before you go.Reviewed 2021 May 23

Cons:Lack of communication between Kayak and Dollar. When I arrived to pick up the car Sunday after waiting In line for 45 minutes I was told to call corporate Monday morning. When I called your representative I was told just to cancel the reservation I and rebook it. Instead I booked direct with national I did not have any issues. I wasted two hours dealing with this.Reviewed 2021 May 17

Pros:Staff was friendly enough but the car had definitly been smoked in by previous renters. Due to family issues I was not able to go back to the airport to get a different car . I will not rent from Dollar again:(Cons:Car smelled of smoke , for the price I paid, very disappointed.Reviewed 2021 Apr 18

Pros:Pickup process was very quick and smooth. Once I was helped, I was out pretty quickly.Cons:When I got to the counter at around 6 am, there was nobody there. There was a sign saying "back in 5 minutes." 10 minutes later, someone showed up to help me. It's not huge, but it didn't help my nerves as my wife and two very young kids wondered how long we'd have to wait after a long red-eye before being able to continue our journey.Reviewed 2021 Mar 29
