The car size I reserved wasn’t available so the charged me $10 extra a day. Not cool. So my cost was more than double. Also the car was constantly dinging that it needed service. You can imagine how annoying that was. Everything else was great.Reviewed 2024 Oct 06

I would’ve liked to be able to use one credit card at pick up and a different one at drop off which I was refused. I usually rent next door for them at Fox And there is never a problem, changing credit cards. The rental agent was adamant that I cannot do that, which will leave me know alternative, but to resume renting from Fox or other rental companies within Fort Lauderdale airport.Reviewed 2024 Oct 01

I booked a premium car but when I arrived they were out of stock. They wanted to charge me more (much more) for everything they did have available, even though most of it was below premium. I waited a bit and then some cars came in...I ended up in a very minimalist Nissan Kick and still had to pay the premium rate - ridiculous! It felt like ACE was scamming me.Reviewed 2024 Jul 26

Terrible!!! what started out as a $431.00 rental turned into a $809. charge on my credit card. They charge me for roadside assistance that I neither needed nor was asked if I did, I have full CAA coverage. Becareful of what you initial!! I was also charge a $250. for extra dirt. seems like they smelled smoke, although I do not smoke. I complained to head office with no success. VERY disappointing!!! My 421.65 dollar rental turned into a 803.27 charge. they claimed I signed for a roadside assistance package that I would never take, I have full CAA coverage, They should ask you if you want it before they put it on and its part of the many initials I signed for. They charged me a 250.00 charge for extra cleaning, supposedly they smelled smoke. I do not smoke, but perhaps they found an empty pack in the back that my freind threw away. I complained to head office but the FLL office said too bad, it all stands. No wonder there was nobody waiting in line at ACE like there was at every other company line.
