The pickup location given was not a Hertz rental car, I had to call and lucky they switched my reservation. After getting the car out of the garage I realized the car was dirty inside, the radio volume didn't work properly.Reviewed 2022 Jul 08

Folks at the counters when picking up the vehicle had attitudes. When I asked if they were available to help me after standing unassisted for 10 minutes the man stated, "sure", with a tone. Then stated, "wasn't someone else helping you?" The female that was helping me initially, whom also had a terrible attitude, walked away while I spoke to a representative on the phone because of a cc error and never came back. I didn't bring the cc I booked the rental under and understand I had made an error. They were annoyed they whole time. Beat part was I was the only person in line so it's not like I was holding anything up. Also my vehicle smelled of smoke. I will say both attendants outside were extremely pleasant and helpful.Reviewed 2022 Jun 13

My flight was cancelled and rebooked the next day. Therefore I needed the rental car for an extra day. when i requested to extend the rental by a day, Hertz said no, that it couldn't be extended. So i had to return the car (3 hour drive) to the airport and then get a hotel near the airport. It was hit and uncomfortable and a lot of in and out of airport for no reason. I will not choose Hertz again. Also it took me several tries to get through Hertz’ automated telephone system to just speak to a human. Trying to get through to the local rental place proved to be even more difficult.Reviewed 2022 May 23

People were nice. Thankfully they weren’t too picky about the shape of the vehicle because it had scratches all over, was filthy, clearly smoked in. Also when driving it had a shake to the stearing wheel. I like Hondas but I will never buy a Civic.Reviewed 2022 May 13

A company should not accept a reservation when they know they will not be open when your flight arrives. I found this to be even worse when we contacted them because we were going to be later than originally planned ( both times were still late) and the agent said no problem. Well when we arrived the Hertz office was closed. We needed to spend money on a ride to our house and then a ride back the next day to finally get the car. Hertz did NOTHING to make it right and I was quite disappointed in their service.Reviewed 2022 Apr 18

The staff were very courteous, personable and generally excellent. When returning the vehicle, I had left an item in the hire car. One member of staff tried to locate the car and could not so went to the desk and spoke to staff there. They radioed through to another member of staff who located the car and then the item.
