Pros: STAFF FRIENDLINESS
Cons: Waited well over an hour in line to pick up the vehicle. Didn’t get luxury vehicle we paid for but by that point we just wanted to get it and go
Pros: Yes staff was very pleasant
Cons: Pickup took 1hr 30 mins. Should have had more agents on.
Cons: The offer was for $900. When we arrived at the counter, they charged us $1000 more in insurance. You should put the whole charges in the offer.
When we went to the Economy section, there was only 1 car and it was bigger than a pencil sharpener. Our bags didn't fit. We had to wait an our till a bigger car arrived.
Worst experience ever.
Cons: Vehicle I was in had 2 issues. Low tire pressure in front tire. I put air in it. And trouble getting the seat belt to click in place.
Pros: It was a dependable vehicle
Cons: The line when picking up
Pros: ease of pick up/return
Cons: maybe clean the car a little better some stains on seats
Pros: The pick up took a long time. Not enough staff at that office. The drop off staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The prices are absolutely through the roof, lile all car rental agencies these days. It's time to look at Uber, when going to Florida again.
Pros: The car itself was good. Clean and fairly new. The drop-off was OK A little slow. Understaffed.
Cons: The pickup was awful. Only two agents on duty. Took over an hour to reach the front of the line. The agents on duty were frustratingly slow. Taking 10-15 minutes to process each customer. Fortunately the manager happened to take over from one agent just as I came to the window. When I dropped off the car a week later, I could see the line stretching around the corner again, moving at a snail's pace. So obviously nothing had gotten better. I don't see myself using Thrifty at FLL again.
Cons: The car was all messed up. The speedomoter, ,the gas gauge, the clock, etc. Also, when I went to extend my car rental by one day I was completely taken advantage of on the price. The price online was $79 cheaper (for 1 day!). Never again!
Pros: Drop off in Miami was very easy. Vehicle size fit our needs.
Cons: The line to obtain our vehicle in Ft. Lauderdale was over an hour long. Only 3 guest associates were helping people, but the line was moving very slow. Our own process took only a few minutes once we got to an agent, but unfortunately, He did not explain Florida SunPass or that there are electronic tolls all over the state. The tolls were very confusing for me, and when I called customer service, they stated EACH toll charge could cost me $10, when I read the signs of the toll each ranged from .49 cent to .94 cents. I feel there is dishonesty in not telling a customer that you might charge me $10 EACH TOLL fee. I was told to wait for the bill in the mail to dispute the charges and they might cut the charge by 50%. Also, the vehicle was not cleaned upon pick up as we found cigarette ashes inside the vehicle and it smelled very strong of smoke. Very gross.
Pros: Great quality compact car for the price.
Cons: I waited 2 hours & 20 minutes on line just to pick up my rental, then an additional 20 minutes to get the car in the lot. We had to cancel our plans for the day since unlike my previous rentals this pick up took up our day. When your trip is short you don’t want to spend hours waiting for a cheaper rental price. I’d rather pay more money for faster service. Only 2 employees were working during a high volume time.
