Pros: We were given the car we were promised. The car had added features, like smart cruise control to make the drive safer. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Cons: The gentleman who picked us up in the shuttle from the airport was very friendly. He had a mask on but he kept it pulled down to talk to us. Me and my travel partner are both half-vaccinated, so it didn't bother us THAT much, but it was a little irksome. The masks don't work if they don't cover your nose and mouth as you're breathing and talking.
Cons: The office was closed when we arrived for our 8PM reservation after a long day of travel. After waiting for 20+ minutes at the car rental shuttle stop we were told that SIXT was closed and there was no shuttle. We were at that point without a car to get to our final destination and ended up with a last minute rental from Enterprise. Never again with Sixt.
Pros: Staff was good. Dropoff was easy, didn't want to give me a receipt before I left. Odd

Pros: The shuttle never even showed up to pick me up for my rental at Philadelphia Airport. After waiting for twenty minutes in the freezing cold, we tried to call (you cannot get ahold of the local office). The main office tried to connect me, but they apparently closed early for the night. So we had to go to Hertz and get s car for the night to get to the hotel. The next day I called to confirm my reservation so I could go pickup the car after work that day, and the central office said, yes that was fine. Then he double checked the system and realized that they had no cars available, including the car that I had already paid for, which should have been sitting there waiting for me! The only positive thing that happened was that the rep at the main office immediately gave me a full refund with no argument. Unreal.

Literally wasted an HR of my life due to lack of simple clarity of what requires.

The Car I rented was very nice and comfortable. Clean.
Cons: Person at the desk picking up my was mediocre. Did not explain much. There was a issue with his informing me Stix required a $200 deposit for a $142 rental. He explained that the clause is in the fine print that "a deposit may be necessary." It should show up with deposit amount ($200 ) along side the total rental price when reserving the car on line. People don't like surprises like this. In the 50 years of renting cars, this is the first time I ever had to put in a deposit. When returning the car, I inquired again about the deposit. Guy said it should show up on my bank statement in 5 days. What does that mean?
