The wait at pickup counter took about 45 minutes! Budget appeared to be short-staffed as the only person working at the counter was assisting the priority lineup first and did not help the regular line until they were completely done. All the other rental counters were completely empty and the Budget line was about 10 people long. When someone eventually showed up, we told them about how long everyone had been waiting but they didn't seem to care at all. Not worth the wait.Reviewed 2023 Aug 20

We are being charged 500 dollars for road hazard damage to windshield of the rental car. We paid extra per day and was told it was an insurance that took care of the little things that could go wrong. I asked if that was like road hazards and he said yes. When we turned the car in we told them about the dings on the windshield and that they caused by a passing semi truck,,,,,,road hazard. We were told not to worry that it was road hazard and we wouldn’t be charged for it. Then we get charged!!!!Reviewed 2023 Jul 26

Good deal, car was great! However. We waited in line almost 2 hours to pick up our reserved car when we arrived in Palm Springs. Only one staff working at the Budget desk, staff person was incredibly composed considering the pressure of the situation.Reviewed 2023 Apr 17
