Rented car with pick up time for noon. Got there at 12:15 and place was closed with no attendant. Given most people renting are traveling and plane delays are common and out of travellers control. About 2/3 of cost was refunded but still won’t be using kayak againReviewed 2024 Oct 09

Better advice choosing a vehicle. Offered an upgrade to a Prius that has a weak engine and bad for the highway. I specifically said I was traveling to Vegas and back. Plus charging me almost $100 for half a tank of gas after dropping it off. Feels like a rip off to me.Reviewed 2024 Aug 28

We were unable to pick up the car that we reserved because it was not available when we got there. There were no cars in our class available and their only option was to rent us a larger car for a larger price. We canceled our rental and will likely not be using Avis or kayak again. The pick up desk at PSP is a disaster, so many people wanting cars and too few employees helping them. Very aggravated customers in the very long lineup to pick up vehicles. Express drop off, on the other hand, worked very well.Reviewed 2024 Mar 11

Got to the desk and was shocked to see a line of people that probably would have taken over an hour to get a car. So went to the preferred desk when there was a budget and avis guy with nothing to do. I couldn't remember my number, but the guy looked it up. However, he gave me a Ford 150 truck -- a bit much.
