Pros:Staff was fine, but not enough employees to handle the amount of business. It's not cool for a Rep to get up and leave for break/lunch during a busy time. Cons:I was told by the employee at drop-off that the vehicle was dirty and would require a $75 fee. There was no damage to the vehicle, and the issue was with dust that had accumulated during our hiking. We were told that the fee was necessary because Fox would need to devote exceptional time and effort to cleaning the vehicle. My wife and I then proceeded to bang out the carpets with our hands, despite being short on time, and removed 90% of the dirt that way. The associate then agreed that the car was not worthy of a cleaning fee. So if we were able to sufficiently clean the car in less than five minutes with nothing more than our hands - why would a Fox associate say it required $75 extra? Vacuuming the car is a service I expect will be included in the price of rental. Nothing destructive had happened to the vehicle. There were no bodily fluids or chemicals or anything else that wouldn’t have come out with a simple vacuum and a wipe-down of the floor area. What this suggested to me was that Fox tries to sucker-punch its customers with exploitative fees as they are struggling to make their flights because they expect that we will have limited time to fight the charge. Even if we had left a hard-to-clean mess, the fee of $75 was totally exorbitant. It would have been almost 50% of the total rental. Associates need better training as to what constitutes a destructive mess versus something that can be cleaned with a simple wet cloth and vacuum. As I said, if we were able to “fix” the mess with our hands by banging out the carpets, it’s clear that this wasn’t something worthy of a $75 charge. This experience came after we had to replace the first car we got off the lot because of a slow leak in one of the tires. We also had to deal with extremely long lines during pickup and aggressive sales tactics. The whole car rental industry seems to be geared around screwing customers out of every cent possible, and Fox is no exception.Reviewed 2021 Mar 07

Cons:Requires 2 shuttle rides from the airport to get to location. Staff were very unfriendly and appeared annoyed to be helping customers. Pick-up process took over 90 min. Cons:No cars were available at the time of pickup. The car was filthy and in poor condition cosmetically. The front left tire had a leak and required me to fill it with air twice a day. Customer service was pathetic at time of pickup. The pickup/drop off location required a second shuttle from the car rental center.Reviewed 2021 Mar 06
